Onlearn.online is my space to think out loud about teaching, learning and didactics – with a special focus on online and hybrid education.
Here I share reflections, experiences and approaches that have emerged through several years of work on planning, implementing and developing online teaching. Not as ready-made truths, but as practical suggestions on how teaching can be made more coherent, meaningful and educational for students.
Teaching with purpose and coherence
A recurring theme on the site is my preoccupation with coherence: the coherence between knowledge, skills and competencies, between the individual parts of the teaching, and between what the students do along the way and what they are expected to be able to do in practice.
Especially in online teaching, structure, transparency and clear objectives become crucial – both for the students' motivation and for the quality of their work.
Experience from practice – not just theory
The content on the site is based on concrete teaching processes, team collaboration and ongoing adjustments in practice. I write about both what works and what challenges – because teaching development is rarely linear and never error-free.
My reflections draw on recognized didactic theory, but are always rooted in everyday life as a teacher: planning, testing, evaluation – and repetition.

The transferflow model
On the page you can also find the Transferflow model – a didactic model I have developed to support the connection between asynchronous teaching, synchronous skills training and project work in online courses.
The model is not the goal in itself, but a tool for thinking about teaching in a more purposeful and holistic way – for both teachers and students.
